1. 1. Open Tokens

   Click Tokens in the top nav to reach /settings/tokens.

2. 2. Create a token

   Under Create new token, enter a Name, choose a Scope (repo:read or repo:write), optionally set Expires in (days), and click Create token.

3. 3. Copy immediately

   The full token is shown once in a highlighted box — copy it now. It cannot be retrieved later.

4. 4. Revoke when done

   Use Revoke on an existing token in the list if it is no longer needed.
